THE SIGNUP PROCESS ON TEMPO
STEP 2
BUILD YOUR PROFILE
Once you have created an account, you can start building your profile. Your profile acts as your digital CV so try and fill it out with as much detail as possible. It is what employers will see when you apply for a role so you want to make sure your profile is complete and catches their attention. Not sure what salary to put? No problem, just click this link and we can help you with salary benchmarking.
YOU WILL NEED TO:
- Write a short bio*
- Add your work experience*
- Add your education*
- Add your extra-curricular activities
- Set your availability*
- Add your skills
- Add a photo
- Add a video
- Request a reference
*These are the minimum requirements that employers need to know about you so that they can find your profile.
To make things even easier for you, we have added an option for you to upload your CV. Hit the ‘Import CV’ button, upload your CV and it will automatically fill in the relevant information.
STEP 3
MAXIMISE YOUR PROFILE
Have you seen the ‘Boost your profile’ section? This shows your profile strength and points out areas that are missing. Be sure to highlight things such as charity work or volunteer work to give you an extra edge.
TOP TIP:
Employers can use keywords to narrow down their matches to exactly the right candidates, so a complete profile will increase your chances of getting an interview. For more tips on how to maximise your profile, head over here.
STEP 4
RECORD A PROFILE VIDEO
Want to let your personality shine through to employers? We give you the option to record a video so that you can put a face to a name and stand out to employers when they view your profile.
Your profile video is a great way to show employers who you really are and that you are more than your CV. It helps you to stand out from the crowd and candidates with a video on their profile are even seven times more likely to get hired. Some employers use the information in your profile video to skip the screening call.
