What is a Pay As You Go plan?

These plans allow maximum flexibility; with no annual contract. The platform is free to use up until the point of hire, at which point a fee is applicable

How do you calculate the PAYG fees for Permanent Hires?

The fee payable is based on the first year salary of your new hire

How do Temp Fees work?

You will be billed a percentage based off a temporary worker’s total hourly cost, including statutory costs. The standard fee is 20% but this percentage decreases the more temps you have working

How do you calculate the number of temps in work?

The number of temps in work is calculated monthly based on how many people have worked with you during the month

What happens if I want to take someone on permanently after they've been temping?

That’s no problem – in fact we highly encourage it! Simply make a temp-to-perm offer through the platform you will be billed the relevant Temp to Perm fees. That’s it!

What happens if I want to hire someone permanently from the start?

That’s absolutely fine. You can either hire them one-off, in which case the PAYG fees will apply - or you can opt for an Unlimited Hiring plan if you think you'll made additional hires in the next 12 months

What does ‘Seats’ mean?

This refers to the number of employees who can have access to your Tempo account to create, view and manage jobs and candidates.

How are my payments processed?

Payments are processed by direct debit via GoCardless. Your payments are protected under the Direct Debit Guarantee, and GoCardless will notify you about upcoming payments
